In the past, Henna has traditionally been a part of Indian culture during festivals and weddings. Henna patterns have been used to decorate the hands and feet of the bride-to-be with designs ranging from flowers and vines to motifs such as swans and peacocks. Henna For Humanity continues these old traditions while building new ones. We have laid the art onto brand new mediums, to create canvases that can adorn your walls. Open to suggestions, we are constantly exploring new media. Take a look at our brand new pieces below!

A Complex Medley of Designs

Simple but Beautiful

Flowers with a Pop of Color

This was my 1st time using another medium other than someone’s hand. I had lots of fun experimenting with the versatility of Henna. This really displays how Henna can connect to modern art, creating a masterpiece of beautiful mandalas.

Exploring canvases for the 2nd time, I wanted to create another piece with a different style of Henna. On my previous canvas, I had explored mandalas, but now, I wanted to explore the wavy, beautiful nature of vines. Mandalas and Vines are two very different techniques of Henna; one uses circular patterns and intricate details, and the other ventures into different techniques of lines. I really believe that these pieces showcase my expertise and versatility in different fields of Henna.
